Obituary
Jeremy Joseph "Chick" Leake, age 34, of Raywick, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his residence.
Born August 30, 1977 in Louisville, he worked with his hands to make a living and was a Catholic by faith. He was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. He loved his friends and he loved the outdoors. His family will dearly miss him. He is finally at peace.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Ann Leake, his sister, Shawna Marie Leake, grandparents, Gene and Jean Leake and grandfather, James A. Harp, Sr.
Survivors include his son Cody Leake of Hodgenville, his father, Nickie Leake of Raywick, his grandmother, Barbara J. Harp of Louisville, brother, Joshua Leake (Katrina) of Mount Washington, niece, Savanah Leake and nephew, Logan Leake, both at home, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting 3-7 PM Sunday, November 20, 2011, with a celebration of his life at 7 PM at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.
