Truman Jerome "Jerry" Nalley, age 71 of Marion County, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Christian Health Center in Louisville.  He was born December 22, 1950 in Manton.  He served his country in the U.S. Army as a medic, and he fought in Vietnam.  He was a former employee of Zoeller Pump Company in Louisville.

The family would like to give a special thank you for the care provided by Hosparus of Louisville and the wonderful staff at Christian Care Center.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Julian and Naomi Marie Bell Nalley; five sisters, Judy Marie Nalley, Rhoda Della Metcalf, Mary Henrietta Fogle, Madonna Rose Bowman and Joyce Ann Norris; one brother, Michael Edward Nalley.

Survivors include three children, Carrie Ball of Marion County, Shawna Riggs of New Albany, Indiana and Jerry Lee Nalley of Bardstown; eight grandchildren, Jamie, Jorge, Tina, Daniel, Jose, Colin, Kyler and Hannah; two great grandchildren, Kaliope and Kaiden Isaiah; three sisters, Wanda Bartley of Bardstown, Patty Bruner (Greg) and Sue Miles (Danny) all of Saint Francis; six brothers, Junior Nalley of Cox's Creek, Joe Nalley (Sherry) of Clarksville, TN, Jimmy Nalley of Lebanon, Stephen "Sarge" Nalley of Raywick, Bert Nalley (Celia) of Hepzibah, GA, and Bruce Nalley of Lebanon.

Cremation was chosen.  A memorial visitation will be held 3-8 pm Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
