Obituary
Melvin Gerald "Jerry" Reynolds, Sr., age 70, of Saint Joe, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at his residence.
Jerry was born February 25, 1942 in Saint Joe. He worked 45 years at Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown and was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin and Flora Brockman Reynolds, two sisters, Juanita Thomas and Martha Jean Darnell and one brother, Eugene Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Mary Ann Ball Reynolds, one son, Melvin Reynolds, Jr. of Saint Joe, five daughters, Trish Wathen (Troy) of Saint Joe, Carrie Hernandez of Campbellsville, Tina Cruse (Dale) of Magnolia, Shannon Bailey (Chris) of Pekin, Indiana, Cathy Jo Grubbs (Linn) of Hodgenville, 11 grandchildren, two sisters, Devorel Cambron (Tony) of Louisville, Anna Reynolds of Bardstown, two brothers, Charles Reynolds (Frances) of Bardstown and Marvin Reynolds (Judy) of Lebanon.
Mass of Chrisian Burial will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Raywick, followed by interment in Saint Joe Cemetery. Rev. James W. Graf will be the celebrant.
Visiting 3-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 6 PM by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
