James Ronald "Jimmy" Lyvers, Jr., age 62 of Holy Cross, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at UK Hospital in Lexington.  He was born August 16, 1960 in Nelson County.  He formerly worked as a truck driver.  He honorably served his country in the U. S. Marines.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, James Ronald "Ronnie" Lyvers and Burnita Mae "Nedy" Suiter Lyvers; two siblings, Linda Karen Lyvers and Terry Lee Lyvers.

Survivors include two siblings, Vickie M. Conner (Gene) of Nelson County and David E. Lyvers (Donna Michelle Brown) of Campbellsville; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Jimmy Lyvers will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.  His burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation is 10 am – 2 pm Saturday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
