John Martin “Johnny” Osborne, 77, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 28, 1949, in Marion County, he retired from Maker’s Mark after 27 years of dedicated service. Johnny was always on the move and loved working with his hands, especially when fixing things. He found joy in gardening, fishing, and tending to his martin boxes. He was a faithful member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Miles “R. M.” and Loretta Cambron Osborne and his brothers, Dickie Osborne and Mike Osborne.

Survivors include his wife 52 years, Pat Richerson Osborne; two daughters, Stephanie Nally (Jason) and Jessica Osborne, all of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Taylor Cissell, Abigail Cissell, Braydon Cissell, Spencer Martin Nally and Kailey Nally; one great-granddaughter, Jade Elizabeth Penick; his grand-dog, Buddy Nash; two sisters, Cathy McRay (Ronnie) and Margaret Osborne, all of Lebanon; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Osborne and Brenda Osborne, both of Lebanon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon. Rev. Daniel Whelen will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Memorials may go to Saint Augustine Church.

Pallbearers are his former co-workers, Terry Walston, Jimmy Hill, Denny Potter, David Dones, Chili Spalding, and Johnny Young.
