Obituary
John Kennedy McKenzie, age 64 of Raywick, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at VA Hospital in Lexington.
He was born December 30, 1948 in Prince Frederick, Maryland. He was a carpenter, a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and a catholic by faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Vincencia Holka McKenzie, one brother, Gene McKenzie and one half-brother, Raymond John Angermier.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann Clark of Merritt Island, Florida, three nieces and one nephew.
Cremation was chosen. A scattering ceremony will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2013 on Beer Hill, near the end of Robert Lee Road in Raywick. Military Rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
