Obituary
John Bernard "John Bill" Raley, 50, of Saint Francis, KY, passed away Wednesday evening, July 6, 2011 at his sister?s residence in Loretto.
Born May 24, 1961, Mr. Raley was a former employee of Owens-Illinois Company in Bardstown and Peterson Farms in New Hope.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ambrose "Bill" and Catherine Thelma Mattingly Raley and an infant brother, James Raley.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashley (Andy) Wright of Lebanon, a granddaughter, Drew Wright at home, three sisters, Dianne (Randy) Mattingly and Debra (David) Hill both of Loretto and Margaret Thompson (Terry Ballard) of Saint Francis, a brother, Joe (Brenda) Raley of Saint Francis and several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Monday, July 11, 2011 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, Saint Francis, KY, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant. Visiting 2-8 PM Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 5 PM Sunday.
Memorial contributions may go toward funeral expenses.
