Johnny Leo Mattingly, age 70 of Lancaster, formerly of Marion County, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
He was born May 1, 1946 in Loretto. He was a polio survivor and a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Adrian and Janie Elizabeth Miles Mattingly; two sisters, Margaret Drury and Louise Hundley; three brothers, Lawrence, J.C. and J.A. Mattingly.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Peel Mattingly; two sisters, Mary Drury (Bertie) of Louisville and Isabel "Sissy" Barlow of Lebanon; one brother, Chip Mattingly (Rilda) of Elizabethtown.
Funeral Services will be held at 5 PM Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Burial will follow in Saint Francis of Assisi Cemetery. The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside.
Visitation is 3-5 PM Saturday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Chip Mattingly, Jerry Nalley, Danny Nalley, Scotty Barlow, Gary Barlow and Timmy Drury.
