Joseph Paul Brady, age 86 of Saint Francis, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
He was born October 3, 1932 in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Buzick Construction with 28 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his 1 st wife, Mary Josephine Mattingly Brady; his parents William Thomas and Minnie Lee Newton Brady; six sons, John, Boodles and Randall Brady and infants Joseph Richard, Joseph Lee and Joseph Paul Brady, III.; one sister, Jenna Rose Mattingly; three brothers, Mike, Jimmy and Shug Brady.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Lucille Rogers Brady; four sons, Joseph Brady (Janice) and Paul Harvey Brady (Jessica) all of Loretto, William Brady (Angie) of Campbellsville and William Francis Brady (Edith) of Lebanon; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Fronie Van Arsdale of Louisville, Annabelle Newton (Joe) of New Haven, Jeanette Clark (James) of Holy Cross and Dorothy Lanham (Ricky) of Culvertown.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Burial will follow in the Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.
Pallbearers are Steven, Joey, Justin, Billy, Derek and Michael Brady.
