Joseph Leon Cissell, Jr., age 42 of Loretto, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at his residence.

He was born December 31, 1973 in Marion County. He formerly worked as a Construction Estimator with Cisco Company in Lexington.

Survivors include his parents, Leon and Rose Nugent Cissell; one sister, Paula L. Mlinar (Joel) of Lexington; one brother, Jason E. Cissell (Ann) of Nicholasville; five nieces and nephews, Riley Cissell, Jacob Cissell, Nate Mlinar, Mac Mlinar and Poppy Mlinar; his special godmother, Mary C. Nugent of Lebanon; his special friends, Mike Tiller and Bret Ripley of Lexington.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick. The Rev. James W. Graf will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM by The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
