Joseph Lee Fowler, 76, So sadly it is that Joseph Lee Fowler departed from us on April 26, 2007. Born on October 6, 1930 in Phillipsburg, Kentucky to James Washington and Willie Mae Fowler, he served in the Army during the Korean War and while he was away from home he continued his devotion to his family back on the farm by assisting them in any way he could. He later learned the building trade, becoming a carpenter and foreman for J. Williams Construction Company and later founded Fowler Construction Company, and then co-founded Fowler & Sons Building and Remodeling. He was a past member of the Home Builders Association. Joseph Lee was preceded in death by his parents and all six of his brothers and sisters; Susan Wright, Katie Decker, Margaret Dukes, Ray, B.J., & Frank Fowler. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Hazel (Ann) Downs, his four children, Lee Ann Chroneos, John Fowler, James Fowler (Paula), Dana Daudelin (Doug) five grandsons, Ben Chroneos, Christopher Fowler, Joseph Lee Fowler, Robert Fowler, Drew Daudelin, one granddaughter, Audrey Jane Fowler, and his beloved dog Tray. Visitation will be at Highlands Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 2 Pm till 8 Pm. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Monday at St. Francis Xavier Church in Raywick, KY. (Marion County).
