Obituary
Joseph Louis Mattingly, age 76 of Lawrenceburg, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 16, 1940 in Holy Cross to the late Joseph Melvin and Theresa Josephine McIntyre Mattingly. He was a retired Brick Mason with River City Development in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Kenny and Timbo Mattingly; two brothers, James Carl "Chicken" Mattingly and Earnest Mattingly.
Survivors include his wife, Bardie Mattingly, one daughter, Lana Mattingly of Holy Cross; two sons, Scotty Mattingly of Holy Cross and Eddie Mattingly of Loretto; a number of grandchildren; one step-son, Kenneth Holland (Theresa) of Lawrenceburg; two step-grandchildren; five sisters, Shirley Norris of Holy Cross, Martha Terry and Melvina Mattingly of Bardstown, Linda Stallings of Saint Francis and Mary Curtsinger of Louisville; two brothers, David Mattingly (Maxine) of Frankfort and Lawrence Mattingly (Cathy) of Holy Cross.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. The Rev. Matt Hardesty will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Visitation is Noon until 4 PM Tuesday.
