Obituary
Joseph Graves Miles, age 71 of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Jewish Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1943 in Loretto. He was a former employee of Sugar Creek Creamery in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leon and Mary Josephine Hornback Miles; one sister, Rita Faye Graham; four brothers, Leon, Melvin, Sammy and Tommy Miles.
Survivors include two sisters, Deverial Livers (Lambert) of Lebanon and Darlene O'Bryan (Tommy) of Shepherdsville; five brothers, Johnny Miles (Diane) and Gordie Miles all of Louisville, Marion Miles (Edith) of Saint Francis, Bernard Miles (Rosalind) of Lebanon and Danny Miles (Jessica) of New Haven; two sisters-in-law, Janice Miles of Loretto and Judy Downs Miles of Saint Francis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Saint Francis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM by The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
