Joseph Leo Mills, 97, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at his home in Louisville. He was a resident of Little Sisters of the Poor and a native of Loretto, KY.

He retired from Seagrams Distillery and was a Magistrate for Marion County Fiscal Court for twelve years. He is survived by seven children, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

Survivors include children: Freddy (Kathleen), J.W. (Linda), Tommy (Jane), Joe Paul (June), Libby Abell (Marion), Nan (Barbara) and Ursula Lafayette (Bill). Grandchildren: Allen, Bryan (Christy), Debbie Glasscock (Bruce); Greg (Monica), Chris (Cindy), Kenny (Robin), Cory (Lisa), Neil; Jolene Wheatley (Eric); Tony (April), Rachel Hammon (Scott Huber), Dana Huffman (Larry); Danielle Lafayette and Christina Lafayette. Great-Grandchildren: Kendal, Erin & Andrew Glasscock; Faith, Gracie, Celeste; Joshua, Amber, Hunter, Dalton, Rae, Slone, Sarah, & Gage; Luke, Abbie, & Maggie Wheatley; Jared Abell; Jason and Brooke Hammon; and his good friend, Catherine Keener.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Blair Mills and two great grandchildren, Travis & Cody.
