Obituary
Joseph B. "Joe" Riggs, Sr, age 42, of Cox?s Creek, passed away there Sunday, June 17, 2012 at his father's home.
Born October 28, 1969 in Louisville, he worked as a painting contractor and was a member of Iron Order Motorcycle Club and Parkway Baptist Church in Bardstown.
Preceding him in death were his sister, Mary Jo Riggs and his step-mother, Ruth Riggs.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Fennell Riggs, two sons, Joey Riggs, Jr. (Tina) and David Riggs, two daughters, Tara Fennell and Karin Riggs , two grandsons, Joseph Bruce Riggs, III and Chace Fitzner all of Cox's Creek, his father, David Riggs of Cox's Creek and his mother Paula Hildrich of Ironton, OH, one brother, Timmy White of Mount Eden and two sisters, Tammy Wayne of West Virginia and Patsy Riggs (Tommy) all of Louisville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 1 PM Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with interment to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Chaplain Doc Father will officiate.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 PM till 8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
