Joshua Daniel "Josh" Burke, age 21 of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

Josh was born August 30, 1996 and was a native of Saint Francis. He was a 2015 graduate of Central Hardin High School and an employee of Structures USA in Elizabethtown. He was a fun loving person who was loved by many. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed bowling, hiking and anything outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Joseph Burke, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy Jo Bickett (James Hynes) of Louisville; his father, Patrick Thomas Burke (Stacy Lee Newton) of New Haven; his grandparents, Tom and Jan Barbour of New Haven and Earl and Betty Bickett of Loretto; three sisters, Amber Nicole Burke (Jimmy Keys) and Mary Elisabeth Burke (Brandon Phillips) all of Louisville and Abigail Lee Burke of New Haven; two brothers, Joe Pat Burke of Elizabethtown and Alan Kendrick Cottrell of Louisville; two nieces, Ja'Niyah Nicole Walker and Jewella Denise Keys; two nephews, Landen Michael Phillips and Eli James Phillips; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.

Visitation is 9-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
