Cecelia Joyce Caldwell, age 89 of Calvary, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at her home, with her family by her side. She was born August 15, 1933, in Marion County. She was a retired pharmacy technician with Spring View Hospital. She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, L.V. "Pill" Caldwell; one son, Joey Caldwell; one son-in-law, Billy Joe Thomas; her parents, Joseph Herbert, and Lucy Marie Ryan Hayden; seven siblings.

Survivors include four sons, Larry Caldwell (Joyce), Tommy Caldwell (Anne), Tony Caldwell (Dot) and Michael Caldwell (Janice) all of Calvary; three daughters, Annette Glasscock (John) of Lebanon, Barbara Barnett (Greg) and Lucy Thomas, all of Calvary; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Caldwell of Calvary; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 3295 Highway 208, Lebanon. Rev. Mark Hamilton will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The visitation is from 3-8 pm Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
