Jude Newton Mattingly, age 59 of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Springview Hospital.

He was born April 11, 1958 in Louisville. He was a former employee of P & D Wholesale and Hidgon's Foodtown. Jude loved and cherished his family and was always appreciative, especially of his niece and healthcare advocate, Jessica Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Ed Mattingly, Sr. and his brother, Eddie Mattingly.

Survivors include his mother, Sally Newton Mattingly of Lebanon; one sister, Ellen McFall (Danny) of Lebanon; four brothers, Chris Mattingly (Beverly) of Columbus, OH, Perry Mattingly (Marvell) of Lebanon, Paul Mattingly (Barry Boatman) of Seattle, Washington and Dan Mattingly (Danetta) of Frankfort; one sister-in-law, Denise Kealing of Bardstown; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and one great-great niece.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation is 9 AM until time of service on Saturday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
