Obituary
Kathleen Rafferty Medley, age 97, formerly of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Life Care Center of Bardstown.
She was born August 22, 1916 in Loretto to the late William P. and Frances Estelle Nalley Rafferty. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Medley and two sisters, Libby Thomas and Margaret Cissell.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Downs of Raywick; six sons, David Medley (Martha) of Louisville, John Medley (Maria) of Henderson, Nevada, Jim Medley of Australia, Richard Medley of Wichita, Kansas, Steve Medley of Versailles, Mike Medley of Henderson, Nevada and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, Saint Francis, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.
Visitation will be 2-4 PM Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
