Margaret "Kaye" Caldwell, 57, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born on May 14, 1968, in Marion County, Kaye was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, bringing her endless joy and love.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and cherished for her warmth and dedication to her family.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, James Spencer Gootee, Sr. and Clara Jean Hill Gootee; one sister, Pamela Michelle Hutchins; one infant brother, Charles Michael Gootee.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Tim Caldwell; four children, Elizabeth Caldwell of Danville, Brandon Caldwell and Brent Caldwell (Ashley), all of Lebanon, and Bradley Caldwell (Chris Lee) of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren, Timothy Goff (Mikayla), Taylor Ballard, Auberne Fogle, Payton Caldwell, Jace Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell, Carson Caldwell, and Liam Caldwell; one great grandson, Keenan Luttrell and one great grandson on the way, Tripp Goff; three sisters, Vicky Dean (Bo) of Loretto, Lisa Nalley (Ernie Sallee) of Lebanon, and Robin Miles (Dink Dugan) of Saint Francis; two brothers, Junior Gootee (Vickie) of Campbellsville and Michael Gootee (Tracy) of Loretto.

Funeral Services for Margaret "Kaye" Caldwell will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Pastor Billy Cross will officiate.  Interment will follow in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery in Calvary.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Justin Caldwell, Bobby Fogle, Mark Cowan, Eldon Lamphere, Robin Jeffries, & Donnie Young; Honorary Pallbearers are grandkids and great grandkids plus Connie and Archie Mattingly and Tessa Lawson.
