Kaylea Alexis Mattingly, age 20 of Loretto, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023.  She was born August 6, 2003, and was a native of Loretto.  She formerly worked at Amazon in Shepherdsville.  She loved animals, art, and drawing.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her parents, Brad and Kay Hutchins Mattingly; one brother, Tyler Mattingly of Saint Francis; her grandparents, Glenn and Kay Mattingly of Saint Francis, Keith Hutchins and Tina Jewell of Springfield, and Sharon and Melvin Chesser of Holy Cross.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto.  Rev. Richard Goodin will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 pm Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
