IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Keith
Hamilton
July 20, 1961 – May 31, 2025
Lawrence "Keith" Hamilton, age 63, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Born on July 20, 1961, in Marion County, Keith was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose kindness and dedication touched countless lives. Keith retired as Assistant Director of the Kentucky Division of Environmental Services, where his commitment to protecting the natural beauty of Kentucky was evident in all he did. Following his retirement, he continued to serve his community through his work at Pat's Pharmacy and by lending his expertise for many years at his father's business, J and L Alignment. A man of deep faith and service, Keith was a proud member of the Lebanon Knights of Columbus Council # 1264 where he earned the title of Sir Knight of the 4th degree. He gave generously of his time as a member of the Marion County Fair Board and shared his love of music as a member of the Saint Augustine Folk Choir and the Silverado Band, where he played guitar and sang with joy. Keith's greatest happiness came from spending time with his family, especially attending his grandchildren's games and enjoying horseback riding together. His warmth, humor, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and music that will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Altha Jo Carrico Hamilton. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Kimberly Fenwick Hamilton; two children, Richard Keith Hamilton (Natasha) and Katie Jo Broyles (Cory), all of Lebanon; four granddaughters, Grace, Mattie, and Adilei Hamilton and Kinzleigh Jo Broyles; three grandsons, Trent Worley, Dylan Coulter, and Caden Broyles; his father, James Spencer Hamilton of Lebanon; two siblings, Maura Clark of Lebanon and Tracy Hamilton of Versailles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon. Rev. Daniel Whelan will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Charles Cemetery.
