Obituary
Kenneth Perry "Kenny" Smith, age 83 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at his residence.
He was born December 17, 1929 in Long Island, New York. He formerly worked as a meat cutter at the Lucky Grocery Store in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a Catholic by faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Beers Smith, four sons, Tom and Kenny Smith, Roger and Robert Alvey and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Ruley Smith, two daughters, Kerry Newman of Las Vegas, NV and Robin Rossman of Lebanon, one grandson, Bryan Newman and several brothers and sisters.
Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Chaplain Wesley Paul will officiate.
