Laura Jean Jones, age 81 of Raywick, died Monday, November 29, 2022 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.  She was born September 11, 1941 in Confluence, KY.  She was a former employee of American Printing House for the Blind in Louisville.  She enjoyed fishing, puzzlebooks, shopping and thrifting.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Luella Huff Valentine; two siblings, Loretta Upesleja and Bill Valentine.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 60 years, Billy Jones; four children, Jeffrey Jones (Helen) of Louisville, Timmy Joseph Jones of Raywick, Billy Jones, Jr. of Louisville and Susan Michelle Jones of Raywick; two granddaughters, Courtney Jennifer Jones and Sydney Elizabeth Jones; two brothers, Chester Lee Valentine (Lula) of Elizabethtown and Elmer Valentine of Sharonville, Ohio.

Nonceremonial cremation was chosen.  Mattingly Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
