Obituary
Bernard Leroy Miles, age 74 of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
He was born February 9, 1941 in Washington County to the late Joseph Roy and Mary Theresa Smith Miles. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Higdon and an infant sister.
Survivors include four sisters, Judy Abell of Lexington, Shirley Downs (Ronnie) of Stamping Ground, Valarie Hacker (Ed) of Raywick and Penny Kirkland (Phillip) of Bradfordsville; three brothers, Ivo Miles (Becky) of Lebanon, Kenneth Miles (Marie) of Perry, Georgia and Donnie Miles (Nancy) of Raywick; a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon with burial to follow in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday and 3-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 6:30 PM Tuesday by The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Memorial donations may go to Eternal Word Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
