Leslie Eugene Crews, 67, of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born on June 2, 1958, in Marion County, he was the son of the late Jodie and Frances Wheeler Crews. Eugene was a dedicated truck driver who retired after many years of service. A man of deep faith, he loved the Lord and lived his life guided by his strong spiritual beliefs.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Valerie Nelson Crews; two siblings, Mary Susan Huckaby and Michael Todd Crews, both of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mark and Tammy Hatcher of Columbia and Mike and Teresa Helm of Lebanon.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Haysville Cemetery, 9310 Danville Highway, Gravel Switch, KY.  Brother Phil Foster will officiate.  Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
