Linda Lee Newton, age 68 of Springfield, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. She was born September 12, 1951 in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Elijah and Catherine Turner Hendricks.

Survivors include six daughters, Mattie Hicks Sullivan of Indiana, Kathy Petty of Louisville, Alisha Roberts-Blevins of New Jersey, Candy Sexton and Susan Hooper both of Willisburg and Cathy Sexton of Mount Eden; five sons, Raymond Sexton, Carl Sullivan, Doug Roberts-Blevins and Tony Roberts all of Louisville and James Sullivan of Bloomfield; one brother, Gary Hendricks of Springfield; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Linda Lee Newton will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Visitation is 9 AM – 11 AM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Casketbearers are Raymond Sexton, Gary Hendricks, James Sullivan, Carl Sullivan, Terry Bricken and Jeffery Hooper.
