Madonna Rose Bowman, age 54 of Saint Francis, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.

She was born January 13, 1962 in Manton to the late Joseph Julian and Naomi Marie Bell Nalley; She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rhoda Della Metcalf and Judy Marie Nalley; one brother, Michael Edward Nalley.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Steve Bowman; one son, Stephen Bowman II and one daughter, Courtney Bowman both at home; five sisters, Joyce Norris (Russell) of Springfield, Wanda Bartley of Greenbriar, Henrietta Fogle (Randall) of Holy Cross, Patty Bruner (Greg) and Sue Miles (Danny) all of Saint Francis; seven brothers, Junior and Jerry Nalley both of Raywick, Joe Nalley (Sherry) of Clarksville, TN, Jimmy Nalley of Lebanon, Stephen "Sarge" Nalley of Saint Francis, Bert Nalley (Celia) of Hephzibah, Georgia and Bruce Nalley of Loretto; one brother-in-law, Bucky Metcalf of Bardstown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 6964 Cissellville Road, Manton. The Rev. Matt Hardesty will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM.
