Marcella Lynn Thompson

Marcella Lynn Thompson, 65, of Lexington, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at Morning Point of Lexington-East. Born September 9, 1960 in Lexington, she was a retired employee of Central Bank.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Reeble Flowers Anderson and one infant sibling.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Wiley of Richmond and Ashley’s father, Joseph Thompson of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Jesselin, Everett and Lydia Wiley; one brother, Terry Anderson (Carol) of Boone, North Carolina.

The visitation for Marcella Lynn Thompson will be held 3-7 pm Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Mattingly Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may go toward funeral expenses.
