Margaret Anne Hicks, age 70 of Shepherdsville, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her residence.

She was born March 22, 1947 in Larue County. She was a retired employee of General Electric and a Catholic by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Calista DeSpain and one brother, Ray DeSpain.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, James Dennis Hicks; two sisters, Wanda DeSpain of Shepherdsville and Faye Jaggers (Bill) of New Albany, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation is 3-7 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
