Margaret (Peg) L Jacobs, 93, of Loretto died with calmness and dignity, June 28, 2026

Born on the 23rd day of May in Cincinnati, OH. Margaret (Peg) Jacobs was the daughter of Clifford & Isabel Lodwick who were of Dutch, English and Scottish ancestry. She was described by colleague and close friend Rev. Dr. Tom Dipko as “an accomplished troubler of the waters of dull conformity….”, one who had a winsome smile, a strong fortitude but also one who could not pretend that all was well in the world when it is not.

Peg is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lea; Son-in-law Michael Kelly; two grandchildren Jillian Kelly (Everly & Elowyn (great grandchildren)) and Andrew Kelly. Peg was preceded in death by her daughters Kathryn Lynn Jacobs and Kim Jacobs Kelly.

Services will be held at the Loretto Motherhouse Chapel 

Wake service 6:30pm, June 29, 2026

Funeral service 10am, June 30, 2026

Green burial service at a future date to be determined.
