Obituary

Margaret Celeste Brady Thompson, age 93 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at her residence.

She was born September 15, 1919 in Marion County. She was a former housekeeper for the old Saint Mary's College, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Saint Charles Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bernard Thompson, her parents, Louis B. and Maggie Settles Brady, three sisters, Aletha Perry, Dorothy Farmer, Maxine Lee and six brothers, Spencer, Shelton, Everett, O'Shea, Stanley and Frank Brady.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Barton Thompson (Glenda) of Cleveland, TN, three daughters, Bernice Lawson (Richard) and Linda Thompson all of Lebanon, Patricia Nieters (James) of Crestwood, eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren, one brother, John Foster Brady of Hodgenville, three sisters-in-law, Goldie Brady, Ernestine Brady and Merle Brady.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Saint Charles Catholic Church, 675 Hwy 327, Lebanon, with interment to follow in the Saint Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon. Rev. James W. Graf will be the celebrant.

Visitation is 3-9 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM conducted by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Michael Lawson, Chad Nieters, Andrew Nieters, Bobby Thompson, Chris Mills, B. J. Thompson and Jason Whitehouse.
