Obituary
Martha Louise Medley, 73, of Loretto, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon.
Born January 26, 1938, Mrs. Medley was a native of Washington County, a former childcare provider and member of Saint Francis of Assisi Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Darryl Medley, her parents, Walter Edward and Mary Ora Mattingly Osbourne, two sisters, Willie Catherine Thomas and Minnie Lee Osbourne, three brothers, Kennebeck, Tom and Poodle Osbourne.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy (Joe) Masterson of Loretto, two sons, Tim and Kevin (Amanda) Medley, all of Loretto, five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one sister, Doretha (Johnny) Simpson of Springfield and one brother, Johnny (Helen) Osbourne of Springfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Saint Francis, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant. Visiting 3-9 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 5 PM Wednesday.
