Obituary
Martha Belke, SL, age 87 of Nerinx, passed away Sunday, Apr. 12, 2015 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.
She was born October 24, 1927 in Louisville to the late John Phillip Belke and Mary Catherine Huff. She entered religious life in 1945 and received her final vows August 15, 1951. She attended Nazareth College in Louisville where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Her teaching assignments were in Colorado, Illinois, Texas, New Mexico and Alabama. In recent years, she worked in the finance office of the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary at Nerinx.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, with burial to follow in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 8 PM Wednesday at the Motherhouse.
Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
