Mary Kathleen Brown, age 74 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was born October 24, 1949 in Marion County.  She formerly worked as a Home Health Nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter O. and Mary Goldie Cook Nelson; one sister, Beulah O'Jean Nelson.

Survivors include six children, Carl Ellis Brown (Sherry) of Columbia, Mary R. Risinger of Lebanon, Carla Davis Mattingly (Donnie) of Lebanon, Kristy Kay Warren (Thomas Brian) of Lebanon, Robin Lynn Brown (Brooke) of Burgin, and Vickie Sue Richardson (Byron) of Lebanon; 14 grandchildren, Tiffany Rigsby (Brandon), Derek Brown (April), Jy'kel Brown, Cinnamon Jewell (Chris), Steven Matthew Fisher (Maggie), Ernest Tanner Fisher (Amber), Brooke A. Smith, Greta Warren, Presley Brown, Bayleigh Moore, Michael Richardson, Keegan Mattingly, Kaylee Mattingly, and Ashley Mattingly and a number of great grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, non-ceremonial cremation was chosen with a private inurnment in Ryder Cemetery.  Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
