Mary Emily Nalley, age 99 of Louisville, passed away  Monday, March 27, 2023 at Little Sisters of the Poor.  She was born February 27, 1924, in Loretto.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albertus "Hank" Nalley (1966); one daughter, Doris Murr; one granddaughter, Kris Collins; her parents, George and Annie Rose Walker Fenwick; 12 siblings, Margaret Hagan, William Fenwick, Orene Mills, Bernard Fenwick, Joseph Fenwick, infant George Fenwick, Bert Fenwick, Gabriel Fenwick, Charles Fenwick, infant Dominic Fenwick, Alma Fenwick and Althaire Miles.

Survivors include two children, Faye Rogers (Jim) of Louisville and Billy Joe Nalley of Loretto; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto.  Rev. Richard Goodin will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 8:30 am – 9:30 am Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
