Mary Ann Reynolds, age 71 of Raywick, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital in Louisville.  She was born February 9, 1951 in Nelson County.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She never missed her grandchildren's games.  She enjoyed feeding birds.  She had a good sense of humor.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gerald "Jerry" Reynolds (died Jan. 21, 2013); her parents, Elmer Charles Ball, Sr. and Elizabeth Gladys Roberts Ball; four siblings, Judy Unseld, Elmer Charles Ball, Jr., Dorothy Chesser and Donald Ball.

Survivors include three children, Melvin Reynolds, Jr. of Saint Joe, Trish Wathen (Troy) of Saint Joe and Carrie Ball of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Jamie Crowe, Jorge Hernandez, Jr., Tina Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Jeff Wathen and Mason Wathen; one great granddaughter, Callie Crowe; five siblings, Joey Ball, Susie Rucker, Aggie Derry, Jerry Ball and Betty Lewis, all of Bardstown.

Cremation was chosen.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick.  Rev. David W. Naylor will officiate.  Committal Rites will follow in Saint Joseph cemetery.

Memorial Visitation is 3-8 pm Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
