Mary Rhudell Vize Mudd, age 97 of Loretto, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Village of Lebanon Nursing Home.

She was born May 14, 1921 in Washington County. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Martin John Mudd, Jr.; one son, Tom Mudd; one son-in-law, David Myers; her parents, John Irvin and Corine Mattingly Vize; her step-mother, Aileen Carrico Vize; eight siblings.

Survivors include eight children, Juanita Johnson (Mike) of Findlay, OH, Barbara Culver (Leo) of Springfield, Paul Mudd (Charlotte) and Martina Bowling (Robert) all of Louisville, Carol Taylor (Joe) of Fredericktown, Gary Mudd (Marsha) of Taylorsville, Lynn Russell (Glenn) of Loretto and Bernadette Myers (David) of Elizabethtown; one daughter-in-law, Rita Mudd of Louisville; 34 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Saint Charles Catholic Church, 675 Highway 327, Lebanon. Rev. David Naylor will preside. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
