Mary Edgaurita "Rita" Winters, age 79, of Manton, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville.
She was born February 5, 1933 at Holy Cross, KY. She was a former employee of Crystal Sheen Arts & Crafts in Oakdale, California and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Manton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Eugene and Mary Lela Downs Newton and three brothers, Leon, Tom and Freddie Newton.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Morgan (Bill) of Louisville, one granddaughter, Jennifer Franklin of Louisville and three great-grandchildren
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Manton, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Chris Allegra will be the celebrant.
Visiting 9 AM till 11 AM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
