Obituary
Michaela Collins, SL, age 98, of the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse, Nerinx, KY, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Motherhouse Infirmary.
Born October 7, 1912 in Colorado, Sister Collins entered religious life in 1940. She taught Greek and Latin in the St. Louis Catholic School System. She moved to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2005.
She is survived by her nephew, Neal Berry of England.
Cremation was chosen. Her memorial mass will be 10:30 AM Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church with a wake at 6:30 PM Sunday at the Motherhouse.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Loretto Hunger fund or the Sisters of Loretto Retirement fund, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, KY 40049
