Mildred Frances Newton Hester, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Baptist Health Louisville.
She was born April 19, 1940 in Munfordville, KY. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Joseph Thomas Newton, Sr.; two sons, Ricky and Joseph Newton; her parents, Logan and Erma Mansfield; one sister, Thelma Alvey; two brothers, Junior and Robert Mansfield.
Survivors include one daughters, Robin Nelson (Ricky) of Louisville; one son, Dave Newton of Louisville; one sister, Sue Riggs of Louisville; ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3560 North Saint Francis Road, Loretto. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11:30 AM Saturday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
