Obituary
Nancy Mae Metcalf, age 72 of Louisville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville.
She was born July 24, 1940 in Nelson County. She formerly worked as an Auditor for Raytheon Manufacturing in Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her son, Scotty Higdon, her parents, John S. Metcalf, Sr. and Anna Mae Riggs Metcalf and one brother, Leo Metcalf.
Survivors include three sisters, Ruby Marshall (George) of Bardstown, Sharon Newton (Jimmy) and Carolyn Willett (John W.) all of New Haven, eight brothers, Teddy Metcalf (Verna), Glen Metcalf (Tammy) and John Metcalf, Jr. all of Holy Cross, Philip Metcalf (Ann) of New Hope, Maurice Metcalf (Nancy) and Stephen Metcalf all of Bardstown, Walt Metcalf (Cathy) of Lawrenceburg, Donnie Metcalf (Juanita) of Culvertown, many nieces and nephews and a special friend J.D. Smith of Louisville.
Funeral Services will be 10 AM Monday, April 8, 2013 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rev. Ben Brown will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
