Nannie Rose Hill, age 90 of Loretto, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born February 2, 1934, in Washington County. She was a homemaker and avid fisherman. She was a member of Saint Charles Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jessie Lee Hill, who died April 16, 2020; her parents, Jack and Ruth Smith Corbett; two sisters, Dorothy Mudd and Bernadine Hagan; one brother, Kenny Corbett; one grandson, Nicholas Hill.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Gootee (Mike) and Nina Sandusky (Earl) all of Lebanon; one son, Michael "Mickey" Hill of Lebanon; two sisters, Lois Gill of Louisville and Jeannine Warren (John) of Springfield; five grandchildren, Adam Gootee, Sara Yates, Jessica Mays, Joey Sandusky and Brandon Hill; eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Monday, February 26, 2024, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Charles Cemetery.
The visitation is 4-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may go to the Saint Augustine School.
Pallbearers are Earl Sandusky, Adam Gootee, Joey Sandusky, Brandon Hill, Travis Yates and Aaron Mayes.
