Obituary

Paul Andrew Peterson, age 55, of Lebanon passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Life Care Center of Bardstown.

He was born September 7, 1956 in Marion County. He was a farmer and member of the Marion County Cattlemen?s Association and a board member of the Kentucky Cattlemen?s Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Mary Ann McFatridge Peterson.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kaye Spalding Peterson, four sisters, Margaret Ann Caldwell (Robert) of Louisville, Martha Arterburn (Dennis) of Scottsville, Clara Patton (Ronnie) of East Bernstadt, Rita Baxter of Louisville, nine brothers, Billy Joe Peterson (Frances) of Maysville, Louis Peterson (Donna) of Springfield, David Peterson (Mary Alice) of Rineyville, Tommy Peterson (Cinda) of Shelbyville, Eddie Peterson (Debbie) of Somerset, Jerry Peterson (Donna) of Loretto, Steven Peterson (Donna) of Lexington, Donnie Peterson (Theresia) of Loretto, Harry Peterson (Cathy) of Paris, KY and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard "Bob" and Imogene Spalding of Lebanon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Saint Charles Catholic Church, Saint Mary?s, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ken Fortener will be the celebrant.

Visiting is 3-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM conducted by Rev. Deacon Dennis May.

Pallbearers are his Nephews, Jeffrey Caldwell, Kevin Spalding, Doug Peterson, Ricky Peterson, Jason Peterson, Ben Peterson, Patrick Arterburn, Tyler Arterburn, Andrew Patton, Joseph Peterson and his friend Steve Downs.

Honorary pallbearers are the other nieces and nephews and the members of the Marion County Cattlemen's Association.
