Alice Pauline Downs, age 96 of Saint Mary's, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her home.

She was born June 7, 1921 in Saint Mary's and was a member of Saint Charles Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Benedict "Gil" Downs (1974); her parents, George William and Bertha Miles Spalding; two sisters, Mary Winnie Downs and Helen Downs.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Downs and Sara Hayden (George) all of Saint Mary's; one son, George Eugene Downs of Saint Mary's; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Saint Charles Catholic Church; 675 Highway 327, Lebanon. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 9 AM – 11 AM Saturday at the church.
