Obituary

Philip Leon Mills, age 68 of Raywick passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his residence.

He was born September 19, 1948 in Saint Joe. He operated "Mills ATV Service and Repair" in Raywick and was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Leo and Susan Aline Mattingly Mills; an infant brother, Robert Neal Mills.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Mills of Moore, Oklahoma and Tonya Hatt (Brian) of Raywick; five grandchildren, Alayna Willson, Austin Hinshaw, Autumn Hatt, Zachery Mills and Megan Snidow; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Snidow; 10 sisters, Patricia Ann Mills and Doris Osborne both of Loretto, Laverne Sapp (Jerry) of Finley, Frances Cecil (Edwin), Marsha Clark (Jim) and JoAnn Reid (Ernest) all of Bardstown, Nancy Jones of Louisville, Ginger Mills-Schmidt (Scott) of Bolder, Colorado, Virginia Bland (Joe) of Waddy, Donna Carroll (Philip) of Lexington; four brothers, Joseph Leo Mills Jr. (Carol) of Saint Charles, Missouri, Tommy Mills (Diane) of Louisville, Charles Mills (Mary Ann) of Lebanon and Donald Mills of Port Lyons, Michigan.

Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick. His brother-in-law, Deacon Joe Bland will preside.

Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
