William Randall "Randy" Dixon, age 70 of Wellington, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born March 13, 1953, in Louisville. He was a retired Sheet Metal Worker under Local Union No. 110 with 40 years of service. He was a Past Master Mason of Taylorsville Masonic Lodge # 210. He was a member of Korea Church of God. He enjoyed a retirement of fishing, camping trips and gardening.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, William Isaac and Liddie Esther Watts Dixon and his sister, Rhonda Hawley.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Rose Mary Osborne Dixon; his brother, Rodney Dixon (Vicki) of Mount Washington; two children, Jason Dixon of Frankfort and Jennifer Dixon (Shon Willis) of Lexington; two grandsons, Isaac Smith and Nikolas Dixon; three stepchildren, Brian Cambron (Melissa) of Louisville, Stacy Clements (Drew) of Springfield and Tommy Cambron (Kayla) of Loretto; six step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; his niece and nephew, Roderick Dixon and Amanda Wimsatt, both of Mount Washington.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Interment will follow in Saint Rose Cemetery.
Visitation is 9 – 10 am Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
Memorials may go to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers are Isaac Smith, Nikolas Dixon, Charles Cambron, Zackary Cambron, Roderick Dixon and Drew Clements.
