Richard Lee McCauley, 77, of Fairdale, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home with his loving wife by his side.

He was born May 25, 1936 in Raywick, KY. He was a retired employee of Naval Ordnance & J.C.P.S. , an Army Veteran and member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church in Fairdale.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Naomi (Nicky), his parents, John & Melvina McCauley, sisters, Glora Mae McCauley, Rita Mattingly, Margaret Galloway and Judy Favreau; brothers, Howard, R.E., Bernard, Ronnie, Harold, John & Joe Ben and one grandson, Joseph McKune.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Patricia Anne, her children, Nichole Barker (Dean) and Justin Wendler (Melanie), his children, Lisa Jarboe, Keeta McKune (Danny) and Richard A. McCauley, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, siblings, Katherine Mattingly, Tom McCauley and Marceline Nickum.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday, March 31, 2014 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick. Rev. James W. Graf will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery where military rites will be performed by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be Noon till 8 PM Sunday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, Fairdale.
