Ricky James Sparks, age 64 of Loretto, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at his home.  He was born September 19, 1959, in Louisville to the late James Harlon and Doris Jean Hiser Sparks.  He was a retired employee of Jim Beam Distillery.

Survivors include one daughter, Brittney Sparks of Rineyville, one son, Channing Hardin and two sisters, Renny Sharp (Chuck) of Deatsville and Racheal Lange (Markus) of Germany.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.  No public services are planned.  Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
