Robert Kenneth Mattingly II, age 49 of Bardstown, passed away July 9, 2018 at his residence.

He was born August 2, 1968 in Marion County to the late Robert K. "Bobby" and Janice Cissell Mattingly. He was a former employee of the old Holiday Inn in Bardstown and Cozy Corner Tavern in Loretto. He attended Saint Catharine College earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business.

Survivors include three sisters, Karen Mattingly (Mark Nigro) of Berea, Diane Mattingly (Criss Helmkamp) of Elizabethtown and Joan Mattingly of Lexington; two nieces, Kelli Mattingly of Colorado and Emily Nigro of Berea; one nephew, Jonathan Foster (Cassie) of Nicholasville; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 13, 2018 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto. Rev. Bryan Lamberson will preside. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer services at 7 PM by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
